His images have been selected for display at Disney's Epcot Center. Robert has
been PPCO "Photographer of the Year," four times. He is a Ten-time recipient of
the prestigious Kodak Gallery Award. His images have been selected for the
Professional Photographers of America Traveling Loan Exhibit for the last seven
years. He is a Seven-time Fuji Masterpiece Award winner. Humble and friendly as
he is the recognition and awards he has earned are astonishing, any one of which
most professional photographers never obtains in a lifetime of good work.
Robert has also had the distinction of having his work twice selected by a jury
of distinguished artisans for the “Art for Life” bi-annual event. The selected
works is then part of a show, which are displayed in the Columbus Museum of Art.
The world-renowned Ron Pruzuti Gallery has purchased Robert’s Art.
Robert is also the first American to be offered membership in P.A.C.E. This is
an invitation-only, highly innovative European group of creative Photographers.
PACE stands for Photographers at the Creative Edge.
Although Robert's client wedding work is photojournalistic in nature, he added
digital photography to his wedding work in 1995. He was the first person to
marry digital with traditional wedding photographs and place them before peer
review panels as "introspective wedding commentary."
Through extraordinary dedication, self-discipline, education, perception and
pure talent; Robert draws on the best elements of journalism, fine art, classic
portraiture, and an extraordinary love of the human spirit to explore the
essence of experience. In doing so, he has shown us the way to redefine and
raise the emotional and visual possibilities of fine (wedding) photography.
Robert sees his images as gifts he is given. And through him, to us they speak
volumes only glimpsed at.
Monte Zucker calls Robert a genius. Robert calls himself an "Introspective
Photographic Commentator." We call him a photojournalist, a poet, a musician,
and an artist of exceptional noteworthiness.

Elaine Hughes Biography
Updated June 2, 2007
Elaine Hughes has always been intrigued and fascinated by Photography! In the
early nineteen nineties she began to intensely develop her love of the imaging
process.
Elaine began her photographic journey by studying with the world’s foremost
photographic masters such as; Ronald Turner, Peter Dyer, Monte Zucker, Joyce
Wilson and David Peters. Elaine also began to attend major industry conventions,
courses, and classes, to hone and update her talents and techniques.
It was during this period that Elaine’s opinions about style, composition,

from the “Masters” was extremely helpful, Elaine has assimilated a unique
“Style,” of her own.
In March of the year 2001, Elaine decided to enter four of her

Competition in Las Vegas. Elaine did quite well! Elaine’s print case was the
third highest scoring in the international competition. Elaine’s image, “They
Didn’t Think I Could Make It,” was awarded second place in the
“Photojournalistic” category. Not bad for her very first year of entering print
competition!
In 2002 Elaine’s competition success continued. At the Professional
Photographers of America annual Mid East States convention, Elaine was awarded
two coveted Kodak Gallery Awards. Elaine also won a Fuji Masterpiece award. (The
Kodak Gallery and/or Fuji Masterpiece award in Photography is very similar to an
“Emmy” and/or “Oscar.”)
In 2003 while entering the Mid East States annual print competition, Elaine was
awarded three “Blue” ribbons. Later that year, the forth entry not only went
“Blue” but was selected to appear in the Professional Photographers of America
